Description
Mega Man 7 is an action platform video game developed and published by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the seventh game in the original Mega Man series. The game was released in Japan on March 24, 1995, and was localized later in the year in North America and Europe.

What about a Mega Man Y? (obvious with Z and X) It happens 100 years before classic mega man and involves time travel. It also leaves remnants that inspire the creation of the original Mega Man.
Or Mega Man A (alpha) - an entirely new character that finds out he's a fictional character of our world and finds a way to become real? I don't know, but after all these years we only have two Mega Mans? (Rock and X) What happened with the tradition of creating more to star in new adventures?

I saw a tweet a few minutes ago that the voice actor of Bass.exe from Mega Man NT Warrior hinted that Bass may return in Dual Override. I'm not sure if he's gonna be a playable character or not, so we'll just have to wait and see. On the plus side, we know for a fact Proto Man is in it, so that's great. On a side note, it's amazing they brought back the Robot Master Design Contests for this game because Mega Man Twitter is cooking up great designs left and right for it.

When I was 12 or 13, I drew two rosters of Mega Man Robot Masters (in the form of a stage select). Unfortunately, I don't have the sketches anymore, but I remember a couple names I drew like Thunder Man, Bazooka Man, Moon Man (I think I drew him with a Crystal Man like design), Dino Man, Pencil Man (I'm not joking), and some others I don't remember the names of.

I was introduced to retro gaming in the same way. My dad used to be a retro game collector for various consoles (mainly NES) and I got to play games like Mega Man 2 and 3, Zelda 1, TMNT II, Contra, Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, and so on. My dad wasn't the only reason I got into retro gaming. The other reason was game reviewers like AVGN and Somecallmejohnny (the latter of which inspired me to make game reviews when I was still making YouTube videos). Through those game reviews, I got into Castlevania (both the classics and Metroidvanias), Shoot em ups (the NES version of Salamander aka Life Force was my first Shoot em up I ever played), and eventually hack 'n slash games like Devil May Cry (which is one my all time favorite game series along with Mega Man and Castlevania).

I never realized how much of a banger Ruined Highway is until now
When I was 6, one of the few Mega Man tracks that I’ve listened to (through gameplay) was Ruined Highway, yet also at that young age I was more drawn to Roblox, but now that I’m officially a tasteful individual (When it comes to OSTs), this game’s soundtrack really stands out to me. The tone of the track sets the theme for the game going forward, thus making it one of my favorite opening stage themes. Banger indeed, brother.

My dad bought the 3DS port of the Mega Man legacy collection as a Christmas gift and I picked the series up after I lost interest in the FNAF series a couple months later. Once I picked the series up, I fell in love with it and started making videos about it shortly after like let's plays and game reviews for example. From there, I replayed them countless times and I soon moved on to the other series like X, Zero, and ZX and I even got into supplemental material like the Zero audio dramas and ZX Manga (I also read the Timelines comics a month back, so that was pretty cool). Just like the Classic series, I went on to beat the games in the sub-series multiple times with the Classic and Zero series being my favorites. I love the Mega Man series with all my heart and I hope to god Capcom makes a X9 or ZX3 in the near future (copium).

On October, 2024, I became a Mega Man fan. At first I thought that it would be a good costume idea, so I went with it. That’s when I started getting into the lore. Then it came to me. All this time, I skimmed over this wonderful franchise for so long (one of the factors being no Mega Man 12), and I finally found it. (Although while I was, what, 6, I played some Mega Man, but it wasn’t my go to for retro until now.) This is my 1 year anniversary of me becoming a Mega Man fan, and I’m hoping for many more years to come…

Real. I quit that horrible game like 3 weeks ago and moved onto better games like Zelda, Smash Bros Ultimate and OG Call of Duty titles. I just got Breath of the Wilds for my Nintendo Switch from Gamestop 2 days ago and its a great game so far.

Yeah… my personal opinion on Roblox has drastically changed, because of the fact that there is too much uncensored content there. I mean, there is literally a game called “Steal a Brainrot.” Idk how this happened… Roblox is trash, and there is nothing we can do to fix it apparently. With all of that said, I quit some weeks ago

I'm glad you quit. The platform is getting so bad to the point its's CEO is considering on adding "adult games" on it. I'm so glad I quit the game years back because even before the recent CEO and banning a pedo hunter, the game suffered from a bad case of "so many games, but nothing to play."

I haven't played Legends, Star Force, or Battle Network yet. I wanted to play Battle Network when the legacy collection was announced, but the collection wasn't released for Xbox (the only game console my broke ahh has). It's not like I don't want to play them, I just don't have a PC or laptop to emulate games past the 4th generation of consoles. In other words, I'm not tryna emulate the Legends games and play them with a phone screen while waiting for a legacy collection to be announced:l

I wanted to play Battle Network when the legacy collection was announced, but the collection wasn't released for Xbox (the only game console my broke ahh has). It's not like I don't want to play them, I just don't have a PC or laptop to emulate games past the 4th generation of consoles. In other words, I'm not tryna emulate the Legends games and play them with a phone screen while waiting for a legacy collection to be announced:l

By far my favorite game in the classic series. Mega Man 7 has a few problems, but the pros out weigh the cons in my eyes. The game looks beautiful, and sounds beautiful. Even if Mega Man controls a little odd and he's more bulky. The robot masters are all cool with fun designs and the stage design is great. Plenty of secrets like the password for the versus mode and Shade Man's Stage having a secret theme are all nice little additions to the game. The soundtrack is almost perfect with a few of the Wily Stage themes and Shade Man's secret theme being kinda meh. I'd revisit this one in a heart beat.

Yeah but mega man 10 has sheep man so that automatically makes it better because he is just the best robot master in the series (also mega man 10 is my personal favorite because is was the first mega man game I ever beat).

Playing Ghosts 'n Goblins while skydiving sounds like a saw trap. If you don't beat the game quick enough (2nd loop/true ending included) your parachute won't open and you'll die.

Well, a WHOLE LOT of that is very true, most of the games are 100% centered on memes, but not EVERYTHING. Some of the games are actually high quality and have some of the best lore on Roblox. Games include:
Forsaken
The Strongest Battlegrounds
Sword Fights on the Heights IV: Reforged
Dead Rails
And honestly much more than that. Check out the game AND the massive comments section on the Roblox Forsaken OST.
This was my first game that gave me exposure to the Rockman franchise on my friends Xbox back in 2017 in Legacy Collection II. At Least got it me away from the Call of Duty Franchise for 2 years due to how garbage the games were in 2017-2018.

I've never played the ZX games.
Mainly because I'm more focused on Star Force when it comes to Mega Man games on the DS.
