SEQ_CIRCUIT_2 is not in the game files, hence why it will not be included...
this needs that remake of the "SEQ_CIRCUIT_2" from mario kart ds that they used for the test track (for some reason)
It's missing the super star underwater which has significant bass improvements.
Like MDHEXT said, this effect is mixed in real time, and I don’t have the ability to fully accurately mix those effects. I’d also have to do that with all the other SFX, which I don’t want to do.
Same with lightning effects.

Hi, do you have the individual artwork for each Booster Course Pass wave? Wave 1, 2 ,3 etc...
"Dragon Driftway (Fronturnning)" should be "Dragon Driftway (Frontrunning)" and in the audio title when being played. Also, "Sherbet Land (Frontrunning)" still has the spelling mistake of "Fronturnning" in the title when being played in a music player.

Noticed on Disc 1 there is no track titled "Mount Wario", instead having the track split up into sections. I'm assuming this how the game's files stored the audio. I take it since this is a gamerip and not a soundtrack, there purposefully is no "Mount Wario" track that is a melody of all the sections like other soundtracks of this game have on this site. I think it would be nice if was there anyway. but I get it.
The Replay version should suffice for what you're looking for.

Music Park (Drums) is horrid without the bouncing notes.
I noticed some things with the ordering of this list: why is there a Super Star music right between Rainbow Road and Moo Moo Meadows? Shouldn't it be next to the other item SFX? Also, the next lap, next lap variation, and final lap being in the middle of the Mario Kart Stadium music doesn't feel right. Are these things that need to be fixed?
Hello, where can I find the individual artwork for each booster course wave that was available before... For each wave they had two little icons showing the two cups for that wave... now they are gone... hmm any ideas?
Just out of curiosity, does Nintendo use the same music for Dragon Driftway (the racetrack) and Dragon Palace (the battle area)? They sound similar/exactly the same to me. Is there a difference at all? All I was able to figure out was the interior for Dragon Palace having its own seperate soundtrack.
Maybe it's just a Sweet Sweet Canyon/Sweet Sweet Kingdom sort of thing and I'm just overthinking it.
The race version is slightly longer and the battle mode has different mixing and a few small tweaks to it. There is a difference.
Sweet Sweet Canyon and Kingdom are also really similar, but Kingdom has a slightly different intro.
I personally wish Nintendo didn't more or less copy the race music in Deluxe when they added the battle modes, but it's too late now.

What are the "Replay" variations? For dolphin shoals, mount wario, etc
I'm pretty sure these variations are played when viewing the highlight reel or watching a race on MKTV, since there are several variations of the music throughout the racetrack and Nintento probably just wanted to have one simple soundtrack for the highlight reel replay.

The base game is only 32khz/16bit, so unfortunately, I can’t make it 48khz without faking data. And since the audio is only 16bit, 24bit audio wouldn’t be accurate.
If you want to use any online converter to convert to 48khz 24bit, you can, because that’s exactly what I’d have to do.

I made cover art for it, but I guess it wasn’t the default. I’ll fix that soon.

I have 1.2 GB left on my Chromebook bruh. 😭 Idk how I'm gonna fit all this into my playlist. Then again, I'm probably gonna delete a big chunk of the tracks because they are not needed. I can just put it in Google Drive, review it there, and move it to my Files.

I mean, it would be redundant for the developers to make entire versions of the tracks with the Shy Guys. It would take up unnecessary space.
Wild Woods, Shy Guy Falls, Wii Wario’s Gold Mine, etc. have the Shy Guys inside the same stream files as the song and frontrunning beats. However, you don’t need to be literally right next to them to hear them like you do in GBA Sunset Wilds. Notice that if you’re just driving by, it’s hard to hear them unless you stop right next to them, whereas in the examples above, you just need to be in the general area to hear them.
Also, the frontrunning beats are in the same stream files, unlike MK7 where it was just a generic drum beat that had it’s tempo shifted for the different songs, and the Final Lap variations are also their own separate files, so MK8 doesn’t shy away from using extra space in this way. However, the stream files are small enough it’s not a problem in the game (they can be losslessly expanded to flac files, but use a specific type of compression to get the file size way down).

Also, if I have time, I will update the base game tracks to be 48000hz. All the BCP stuff is and I have the higher res version of the base game now available to me. However, it will more tedious than the first time due to different formatting and will take longer.
Volume is inconsistent across all tracks. Some base game tracks are louder, and some are quieter.
I’m going to normalize all the songs grouped by tracks (e.g. all the Mario Kart Stadium songs will be the same volume, etc.). I already did it with the BCP on my end, just need to do it with everything else.
Change of plans. I’ve gotta add the songs that were just added, but I’m gonna add other SFX (like the startup loop, UI, etc.) along with Wave 6. Sorry for the delay.

I was really confused what people were doing with this rip. Sure, originally, it was missing files and sorted weirdly, but then someone downgraded it to MP3 with a different rip. So I did it myself. You’re welcome!

Hello. I noticed that you misspelled "GCN Wauluigi Stadium" when it should've been called "GCN Waluigi Stadium" and "Tour Los Angelos Laps" is supposed to be called "Tour Los Angeles Laps." I also noticed that you made an mistake on the entire lineup for Super Bell Subway and one of its tracks is mixed up with Big Blue's tracks. If you are or not sure on what I'm talking about, then could you please fix it? Thanks. :)
