This is composed with a theme in mind, that includes the rhythm, like is it slow or fast? Does the song force you to pay attention to it? What song will play next and will it distract you from what you're doing? Also I am not baiting anything, I am just making a statement. But apparently normal statements are offensive now.

...It's music. You need to know what the rhythm is. Otherwise you can't follow where it starts and ends.
Why would you need to follow where it starts and ends? The music in Minecraft is supposed to be ambient, and it would actually be better if you couldn't follow the music, because it would be too distracting. Besides, if you really want to, you can figure out the rhythm by simply knowing about the concept of tempo.
Nice ragebait though.
Edit: nvm this wasn't ragebait, still don't relate to your point though
Yes, a very masterful set of slowed down dance songs... with no beat whatsoever. No, seriously, you can't discern the beat on basically any of these unless there's actual percussion. Might be the point because it's in the background but you need to be able to tell where the beat starts and ends at the very least.
I find it funny that the only way people can describe Minecraft music is “nostalgic” and almost nothing else
As someone who spent most of his time playing Minecraft without the music, after listening to it for the first time more recently, I can kinda see why people say that.
The whole soundtrack has got this 'lonely' and 'distant' vibe to it, almost downright disturbing at times.
A lot of the iconic tracks are good, but most of the OST is made up of pretty standard and forgettable ambient themes...
huge hot take but "Sweden" is overrated, "minecraft" is so much better, and also "minecraft" got about a trillion remixes like in "beginning" and "beginning 2" while "Sweden" has NONE
gorgeous. truly something to behold... even in its age, it's a marvel of a game, from its story to the endless possibilites that could stem from just one block.
reminds me of simpler times. and i'm sure it reminds many others of that as well.
Wow, this album's pretty popular here! (It's Minecraft so ofc it is lol)
I came here for the vinyl discs mainly cuz I grew up with those the most, but the other songs rock too!
Truly the greatest game soundtrack of my generation... 🥲
Haggstrom, Minecraft and Sweden are just beautiful classics that most Minecraft players heard when they were a child and defined Minecrafts identity as a whole. C418's Minecraft Music deserves Hall of Fame because of him it made his music will influenced alot of people who played Minecraft.

I understand you.
For years, I’ve been telling myself ‘I want to go home’ — even while I was already at home.
I never understood why I kept saying that. But after a long time, I realized the home I was looking for wasn’t a place.
It was a feeling.
A feeling of peace, safety, happiness…
A life without pain, without depression, without that constant weight pressing on your chest.
That’s what I’ve been chasing.
And you’re right — happiness doesn’t just appear.
It comes to those who work for it, who fight through the fog to find light.
It won’t knock on your door unless you take a step toward it.
I’m like you.
Still searching.
Still hoping that maybe, just maybe, that feeling of ‘home’ exists in my life.

I once heard, possibly in a Tumblr post, that Minecraft music had the sort of nostalgic feeling to it, that evokes the feeling that you can't go home, because it isn't there anymore.
In this day and age, with everything that has happened over the years, with the pandemic, old friend groups falling apart, new responsibilities appearing, and general things that eat away at any time you have to yourself, I can't agree more with that. I want to go back, to when it was easier, simpler, where everything made more sense, and less at the same time. Did you understand what your life would be 10 years into the future? 15? 20? Even just 3? How many friends would leave, lose touch, how many loved ones you would lose?
Did you understand that happiness was to be worked for? Did you understand the sacrifices made to make you so? This might just be me procrastinating, rambling, or just emptying my head for some reason. But I do hope someone understands.

this is very nostalgic , i remember playing on my wii u when i was younger, it was my first time playing minecraft , i think it was 1.12 or 1.11 , i can't remember, but it was very good up until the update that made legacy edition disappear... legacy edition holds a special place in my heart , in a way , i changed my life... hearing the old music gave me flashbacks, but hearing "Key" just gave me another flashback of my dog that died a year ago... and that's why this is special to me
Now the Youtube can falsely take down the videos with C418's music cuz he signed an contract with Warner Bros. With Warner Bros... You know this is happening right now. They taking down the videos with the music that C418 did created, and they claim its their own music. OWN MUSIC. Somebody take their license away.
If C418 signed a contract with Warner, then he probably signed it because Warner is the company making the Minecraft movie. It's probably so they can put the music in certain parts. But going out of their way to take down videos with the songs on Youtube is NOT okay in any way, shape, or form.
Claiming that it's their own music is VERY wrong, they don't own the music just because C418 signed a contract giving them the rights to use the music (the key words here are "use the music").. That's just not right.
