literally as soon as you hear the main menu theme, you know you're in for an amazing time

There are two other variants of the Nintendo logo missing ( The "Yahoo" only heard in the original DS, and the other "Here-we-go" variant when you close the DS and open it again)

Man this music is so nostalgic it brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it

This game feels nostalgic after 8 years, my mom got me a 3ds in 2017 when i was 5, my first games where Mario Kart 7 & ds & mario 3d land, and when i beat those games, i feel like a pro gamer. Now i’m 13 and i beat those games again and now i feel nostalgic. Thank you Nintendo for making my childhood memories and Nintendo, when will Splatoon Raiders release?

the sound look good but you can get a gold cart but many of losing of my dad in Mario kart DS but he win sometimes

one thing I love about Mario kart ds is the soundtrack.


things I hate about Mario kart ds…

1. Blue shells flying every 3 seconds in a single lap

2. Heavyweights playing the “shove toad off the map” game

3. Rainbow road. (Especially if RNG isn’t in your favor)

4. Red shell.


Unlocking all of the characters and kart choices was one SHELL of an experience for me.

But cool thing is, that in both mk wii and mk ds on main menu screen theme there's the same melody in one part on mario kart wii it's around 0:42 to 0:55 and on ds it's around 0:45 to 0:58, so that's a nice detail

Some of the titles are misleading, I think we need someone who has played the game to go through each song to identify where it plays.

I've noticed that most of the final lap music in the Mario Kart DS music album appears to be normal pitch instead of being high pitch like most of the Mario Kart games from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! I'm not sure if there's any possiblity to have most of the final lap music in this album to be higher pitch I say...?

Oh man I've been bragging about how Waluigi Pinball and Shroom Ridge are best songs and I haven't even played the game...
And unfortunately Mario Kart 8 Deluxe BCP(Booster Course Pass) is done with tracks from this game.:cry:

Hands down the best MK game. It's fun, well balanced, has amazing tracks, tight controls, awesome music, and F*CKING Waluigi Pinball!!!

dude. there are two track 97s. Love the game otherwise.

For some reason, all DS soundtracks are good. I don't know if it's the bitcrushed instruments, or the way there composed, but there usually all good.

There are mistakes in these tracks, and the music in "Final Lap" need to be not only faster, but also higher in pitch.

I think the tracks "Lose a Shine" and "Get a Shine" aren't correct. If my memories are correct, those are jingles related to Mission Mode, specifically unlocking missions.

I think you forgot the music that plays in mission mode after beating all 8 missions, but still need to beat the boss. I can't find it anywhere, but the music is pretty creepy.

Mario Kart Partners in Time confirmed (What I mean it Mario & Luigi Parters in Time is what is put for the game photo). Also I can hear the starting and engine noice in the background. This is overall terrible. Why are all of these reviews so generous?

i love this mariokart stuff!!!! awesome job whoever got it!!!

i would suggest the first track, the title.. it is probably the best. the others complement their respective races very well. i suggest luigi's mansion,grand prix flyover, and waluigi pinball. after track 32, the tracks are pretty short, so my advice is to get the first 32 tracks and forget the rest. if not, you can always come back.

I love this game, and I love the music.

The Mario Kart series goes to the DS, and it rules.
All the music is crystal clear, and have no problems. They sound like they were being played right off the DS! It's good that every track was included, including the menu music.
