Description

Unlike the previous Game Boy title, sub-weapons in the form of holy water and axes (or the cross in the Japanese version) are available in the game. There are four initial levels, each taking place in a separate castle with a unique theme such as air, plant, earth, and crystal, and can be completed in any order, similar to Mega Man. There are large trap rooms in the levels. The game utilizes a password system.

You could set up an orchestra made of the world's finest musicians and they could spend 10,000 hours composing a masterpiece and play it live in an auditorium made of the world's finest wood and designed by expert sound engineers and it would not sound anywhere near as good as Praying Hands on the Game Boy.

Every time I see someone "upgrade" a GB album, the actual music quality drops by a LOT. The noise channel (percussion) is not supposed to sound so muffled!

Castlevania II Belmont's Revenge Is A Massive Improvement over Castlevania The Adventure. The Soundtrack Is A Lot Better, The Game Itself Has The Castlevania Difficulty The Series Is Known for but still making the levels fun & Memorable, & Making Christopher's Walking Speed Faster To Make The Game Fun. Overall, Great Soundtrack & A Good Game. Soundtrack:7/10. Game:6.3/10.
