I think the album cover has some AI generated imagery. Just get up close to things like the logo or any of the Flicky's. They are kinda mushy.

I think I only had a rather lossy low res image of Flicky's Island 3D render based on a Sonic Origins screenshot I found in the web. I always use various plugins including image upscalers for my covers and in this case the resolution was apparently too low and caused some of the smushing you pointed out.

If anyone can supply me with a 4K png screenshot without menu gui elements of the island from Sonic Origins that would be dandy. I will of course credit you. I would then remake the cover with a crisper island render without these artifacts.
