Description
"Just Shapes & Beats" is a game about shapes, and about beats. Yeah we're clever like that.
This is the most thorough compilation of the JSAB music you'll find. It uses a combination of official releases and game-ripped audio to deliver the highest quality possible while being as complete as possible. Songs with official releases were prioritized over the in-game audio due to higher quality, but songs exclusive to the game that have not been released officially were ripped from the game.

Edit: Seems that the gamerip album of jsab (the one added to this site 2 weeks ago) already has the version I wanted but shorter and it's good enough when I was looking for another jsab album here after I sent the reply, lol.
The song seems to be exclusive to Bandcamp. I don't feel like spending money on this, so if you can get me the FLAC file somehow, I'll update it.
Sucks that most if not, everyone thinks the Lunaria (2016) version of Long Live The New Fresh is the same song that was used in-game (which I personally find it as the inferior version) when literally the one that actually sounds good and fits alongside the first four songs you hear in the demo was made in 2014 (most likely made for the game since the demo was available a year after the song)
TLDR; 2014 Long Live The New Fresh is the *pure* definition of JSAB and needs to be included in this website but the 2016 version sadly takes the spotlight instead..

How is this version better than the current one? Is there a way I can verify that the 2014 edition is the version used in the game, versus the 2016 edition?
I was not aware that there were multiple versions of the song and simply grabbed the first one I found off Deezer. Referring to the bitcrushing, unless you downloaded it, you're listening to a compressed copy on the website versus the lossless FLAC copy.
Do note that the in-game files are heavily compressed that if you're listening to the music outside of the game, it becomes very apparent. Just listen to Interlaced; it was only in the game files, so it sounds compressed. Not sure where you're getting the idea that the in-game quality is better.
(Sorry for another wall of text but had to make another comment because editing my other comment would make it longer than it should be)
"Songs with official releases were prioritized over the in-game audio due to higher quality" my ahh. *In my opinion*, the Lunaria version in this album sounds more.. bitcrushed and idc if that song was tryna follow a theme from another album (if those're the right terms to describe it?) The 2014 version also has an official release IN Bandcamp as a standalone song.
If there's one more thing I want to add that makes the 2014 version a tiny bit more superior to the 2016 version, is that the 2014 contains the words "Oh Fuck" (heard in 3:16 but the Lunaria version obv doesn't have that) uttered by none other than Danimal Cannon himself.

Actually, these images are related. It’s the album art for the songs, and they’re both in the game and found on each of the artist’s Bandcamp.

Yep! You can use any file converter of your choice. Foobar2000, VLC Media Player, an online conveter, whatever floats your boat.
I myself won’t do it since FLAC is still lossless and takes up less space, but you can download and do it yourself as well.

I must say, this OST is just amazing! Mainly because it's really big, but also these songs just fit so well into a gd level. Even though I can't use the songs, I can still imagine it, overall, 10/10 :D!!!

This is an excellent soundtrack! I'm a huge fan of it and it's awesome that it's been uploaded with nearly every song in the game accounted for. I say nearly every song because the soundtrack contains the unused incomplete sample of Core rather than the full version of the song, which is the one complaint I have. Otherwise, this is really good!
