If you're into orchestra, this is for you. Everybody else, unless you are a fan of it, don't even bother. Difficult songs to jump into and they drag on for too long. Not my type of BGM.
An impressive soundtrack from Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Shadow Hearts, ..., Mario Party?!) emphasizing the many scenes of the game to a theatrical level reached by too few others (Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy). The list gathers piano solos, orchestra, chants (ormus) and songs (pain, kokoro) with themes like embition, nostalgia, courage and so on.. give it a try :)
