Description

Kyūmei-hen is a direct sequel to the first Twilight Syndrome game, continuing the spooky adventures of the three brave and reckless high-school girls: Yukari, Mika, and Chisato. The first mystery involves a girl named Sakura Himegami, who was killed in an accident many years ago; apparently, her ghost is still around somewhere. The trail leads to an abandoned path in the mountains; Mika decides to venture there, while the other two are going back to school at night, hoping to find more clues.

My Rating: 8.5/10
Personal Favorites: Tracks 5, 6-7, 10

Warning: Jumpscare at 0:45 in Track 12. If your familiar with Hylics, there's some similar energy in this album. Start on track 5- prior to that the songs are quite mediocre. After the weak start, there are a lot of really distinct tracks, with nice dirty rock in 5, some choppy vhs that evolves into dirty hip hop in tracks 6-7, some midi-ish sound that nonetheless has this excellent creepy knocking in track 9, and then some Indian-inspired spooky in track 10. It's quite an interesting album that's strong at a lot of points.
