Description

Gem Ball: Ancient Legends is an Egyptian-themed 3D Breakout game just like Magic Ball and Boom Voyage. The game features two modes: Arcade and Adventure.

Arcade mode is where you just smash the bricks like in every other Breakout. Adventure mode is where you travel across various locations of Egypt to restore the lost gifts of the god Amon-Ra, the King of Egyptian Gods, and where you learn something new about Egyptian Mythology each time you find a gift.

There are several unique and distinctive elements such as colored bricks that can only be broken when the ball has the correspond color. There is also a duplicating machine that will split your ball into two when it enters. Directional arrows change the trajectory of the ball when it crosses it depending on which angle the arrows face. Directional arrows also spin and change the color of your ball from time to time. Door bricks can only be broken when all of its "doors" are closed. Sand whirpools teleport your ball from one side of the playfield to another.

Power-ups include Rainbow Ball that can destroy bricks of any color, Shooting Ball that constantly shoots lasers, Explosive Ball that can destroy multiple balls at once, Power Ball which can cut through most of the bricks, Ball Thrower which allows you to shoot "balls" at the bricks, Accuracy Light which not only allows you to catch a ball, but also shows where it will go before you launch it while it's attached to your bat, and Megalaser that appears whenever you are about to finish a level as it fires a powerful laser beam that can destroy all bricks, even the indestructible ones.
