Description

In Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, the player controls Captain Toad, a Toad, or his companion Toadette, attempting to safely navigate through various obstacles and reach a star at the end of each level. As in Super Mario 3D World, Captain Toad and Toadette can walk and run, but cannot jump due to their heavy backpacks. They are able to pull plants out of the ground to use as projectiles, a feature that is also used to interact with other items in the level.

Hmmm... I checked the first 3 and they look very much lossless to me. They do have a 32Khz sample rate, but I guess that is how it is in the original mastering.

I see... I wonder if there's a 44Khz version out there somewhere, I'm pretty sure these consoles have CD quality audio files.
But.. considering this is a spin-off, perhaps not.

The mp3 files sound corrupted. There are constant crackling noises throughout most of them. The FLAC files seem fine though.

While the file quality is nice, all the songs are named incorrectly, and most are out of order. It's a real hassle to rename and manage everything. Not to mention everything is split into 4 discs for no reason at all.

It seems to be split into 4 discs for the 4 sections of the game. As for names, I don't think there are official names since the soundtrack never got officially released
