"The music was originally composed in OpenMPT, the open source ModPlug Tracker. For this album, it was processed with a suite of high quality mastering plugins.

In the game, the music is played back in real time from an ultra-packed .mo3 file via un4Seen Productions' BASS.DLL playback API. In other words, the in-game music is in tracker format. The realtime playback allows neat tricks, such as tempo changes and layered mixing. Not to mention, packing nearly 50 minutes of music into a mere 764 kb of data.

The re-mastered album has better, cleaner sound than the in-game or the YouTube versions.

Over the course of composing the soundtrack, many useful features were added to OpenMPT, such as: support for multiple sequences and custom per-pattern row highlights. Special thanks to the OpenMPT development team for their support!"
