Koji Kondo didn't do Paper Mario's music though. Still the music is fantastic, my only complaint is I don't think this soundtrack is complete and the titles are all lowercase which is annoying to go through and change if I want this soundtrack on my device
Looks like there's 2 different Paper Mario soundtracks on here maybe they'd benefit from being merged for completeness
Well, Well. Paper Mario. Paper Mario was the first game I have ever played. Still my favorite Mario game. but they're missing the Master's theme. Oh well. Download now!
I Love Paper Mario 64 My Favorite Paper Mario Series and I Got It For My 16th Birthday Last Years and I Finally Beat Bowser's 7 Seven Followers, Saved The Seventh Star Spirit, Beat Bowser in The Final Battle, Saved Princess Peach, Got Back The Star Rod, and Got Princess Peach's Castle Back To Normal.

It's good, but they need to add "super Pipe House"
A.K.A. "Mario Bros. House"
You hear it every time you go to the house with MARIO on the sign above the door. It's also the place where you read Luigi's diary.
I think it is really important and should be added.
One of my favorite soundtracks ever. The music provided the perfect atmosphere to every stage, and it'll always have a special place in my heart for all the wonderful memories it enhanced. Props to Yuka Tsujiyoko.
A n 8/10, because as much as I love this it's still missing a few jams.
Great music, but I kinda don't like how the Toad Town variations and Siege Against Bowser's Castle just mashes up the variations instead of being in a medley.
GREAT! But...
SONGS YOU ARE MISSING:
1. Jr. Troopa
2. The train song(the train leading from TT to mt. Rugged)
3. The song in the yellow clowds in flower fields(just before the boss)
4. Club 64 (the building at the docks)
5. The whale's(the one in the water at the dock) theme song
6. The trip to and from mt. Lavalava
7. The beach on Lavalava island(even though its just the background of yoshi's village theme, it's still a seprate song)
8. Mario and Luigi's house
9. The song when you climb the beanstalk in chapter 6(flower fields) up to the yellow clouds
10.
I remember almost all of these songs by heart, except I have a few questions: 1. Where is the the theme for Mario's house? 2. What is the"nice to meet you" from? As in what part of the story did it play, because I don't remember it AT ALL.
It's really great that all of these are up, but yeah, you forgot "Master Battle" and Jr. Troopa's themes. I download all my music from here, though. I would give this a 10 if you added them. -angelrulez7
Really good sound track, Its missing Jr.Troopa, Mail Call, Master themes, and for all the Paper Mario fans if you remember when you like Save Petunia after and it does this slow piano music and closes in up on her, I love that one!
Ok,it started when I was playing the rom and I heard the opening music for the first time, and was suprised just by that song. I knew it would be a good game.
Amazing...Thoug h I don't understand why everyone's saying "Koji Kondo is awesome" and all that. This isn't even his music! Yuka Tsujiyoko made these tracks! Awesome job Yuka!
Music is an integral part of any gaming atmosphere, and Yuka Tsujiyoko does a fantastic job with it. Most of the tracks are upbeat and playful, however she is able to express other moods according to the environment. A prominent example being "crystal palace crawl"; It emanates mystery with an ominous touch, perfectly describing the level full of mirrors and illusion.
This OST is sure to invoke nostalgia into anyone who played this when they were seven years-old.
*note: I want to clarify that Koji Kondo, although indeed a great composer of many Mario games, DID NOT make the music for Paper Mario. Apparently a few of these ignorant reviewers think that he did.
You can downlaod the music by right clicking download to computer and then a menu shoul pop up and then click"Save target as".You see another menu pop up.Choose where you want it and then click"Download".Tada! It should be there the next time you look.
Koji Kondo did not write this music, why does everyone think that? It was definitely all composed by Yuka Tsujiyoko, who also did the Fire Emblem games.
What is the name of the tune before you battle buzzar and kent c koopa?
Great stuff by the way.
This game has got to have the best music of all my games.
awesome cd! top ten n64 games 10 super mario 64 9 mario kart 64 8 star fox 64 7 kirby 64 6 yoshis story 5 banjo tooie 4 mario party 3 mario party 2 2 diddy kong racing
Man, I've been looking EVERYWHERE for this soundtrack and now I can listen to it whenever I want! Thanks a lot! Paper Mario has got to be my favorite N64 game, the only other game that might be better is Super Mario 64. I was even more surprised when Nintendo released Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and it was even better than I had thought...then came Super Paper Mario which totally destroyed my love for Paper Mario. All the things that I had come to know and love about Paper Mario were just thrown away! (sad face)
great game lovely sound track but none of you all mentioned my favorite song that is missing, though you only heared it for like a min. in flower fields, the song by the sun's tower, gos i would wait there for like half an hour and go on my computer to listen to it.
Maybe I missed it but I don't see the file select song. It's one of my favs.
Also, I thought the Yoshi's Village song had some variation of a Yoshi's Island song in it, Like what's in the search for the fearsome five song only less frantic.
The best Ost in gaming. I can really understand how an old gen game like this could acheive this, but they did it. Only thing that would ever come close to this would be the yggdra union ost. But thats still pretty far away. Shooting star summit ftw.
I loved this game and music. This is by far the best of the paper mario games. The second one was lame, and the third one was just.........
Oh well, I liked this one. 10 for me.
King of the Koopas is supposed to have a shredding guitar. It was replaced by something awful in this version. Why isn't this one the version found on the N64?
I love this game and it's music. Does anyone know if they still sell the CD soundtrack? I remember seeing advertisements for it in Nintendo Power quite a while ago, and most of the ones sold on eBay are very expensive.
This is my favorite game ever (trumping Super Mario 64 and Brawl for me) and it holds the most nostalgic value than any other game for me. This set is amazing!
Koji Kondo is great, but he didn't write the music for Paper Mario. The Fire Emblem composer did. Either way, the soundtrack is great!
This an amazing soundtrack,
all thats missing is the master themes.
Jr troopa,
The first train ride
And the battle against tubba blubba's heart (it has the theme but it doesnt have the battle)
Too bad those were the songs i was looking for
I've had this game on N64 since 2001 (it's release) and I still have an urge to play this over all game I have, even on my Wii! I'm pretty sure it's the music, but also the gameplay. And my favorite soundtrack from this game is either Shooting Star Summit or Shiver Mountain.
But still, all tracks are Excellent!
Love the game, love the music, and love that God send Koji Kondo!!!!! The music for this is great! I just wish they would have included the Cloudy Climb song....
Paper mario has always had amazing music and this includes most of the themes in it. It is missing a couple but all the main themes are in here. I was surprised to see the Freeze! theme. Its not the easist track to come across so thats an up to it. Overall it may have been better on some songs to extend the loops but besides this the set deserves a 9/10 for sure.
this is an amazing soundtrack. This is an amazing game. But it is missing the Jr. Troopa themes!! I luv jr troopa!! and where's the master's themes?? But this is an incredible soundtrack yay
I love Paper mario. I loved paper mario 2, But they went a little far with Paper mario 3, and they ruined the whole aspect of the turned battles, and your partners. With Your partners, it was friendly enemies, but in PM3 its just pixls or whatever. These songs brought back lost memories... ^.^
Paper Mario is my favorite Nintendo 64 game!
The scenery of every place was awesome, and the music complimented every place in the game, very well! This is one the best games I've ever played. The music brings back so many memories.
Great Game, brilliant soundtrack. This is very rare to get now but I own it myself and it will always be a real classic.
This sort of game and soundtrack are the ones that are always remembered by fans
Koji Kondo is one of the best video game music composers I've heard in a while. His rivial Jun Senoue, who wrote the music for Sonic Adventure Battle 2 is very good as well.
Koji Kondo's music is very descriptive of what goes on during the level or chapter in this case. Some of the most original music is also some of the best.
I have to give Koji Kondo a 10 on this video game.
