Personal Favorites: Noble District of Toal [8], Ice Ridge of Noltia [10], Palace of Solomon [12], Subterranean Canal [13], Campanile of Lane [14], Don't Go So Smoothly! [15], Theme of Adol [21], In Still Time [24]

It's classic Ys, you can't go wrong. A lot of great early synth with energetic and varied arrangements, albeit some tracks are not as strong as other (Tower of the Shadow of Death here). There are some great remixes of this album too. I'd highly suggest checking out Woodsoft's Kleene remix as well as SUPER PC Engine Fan Vol.1 Music Collection, which has a great Tower of the Shadow of Death rendition.

@vato76 that track is actually from the native synth album, it's on this website titled Ys Book I & II (TG-CD) if you want to check out the rest of it (I personally like "Feeling Blue")

This is by far the best version of Y's 1 and 2, it might be a bit Synth heavy but it easily has more energy and memorable sounding themes than the newer or more modern versions.

Indeed! I, personally, have to agree with Guest reviewer. Falcolm Sound Team hits all the chords here in the best way, I say.
