This soundtrack was released in Japan, so the track names reference the Japanese names of the characters. In the overseas version of Street Fighter II, the names of three of the four boss characters were rotated: the African-American boxer M. Bison became Balrog, the Spanish clawman Balrog became Vega, and the evil mastermind Vega became M. Bison. So, track 48, "M. Bison Stage," is the stage theme of Balrog in the overseas version, and so on.
