Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is a level-based third-person action-adventure video game, where the player assumes the role of four different versions of Spider-Man, spanning across the Amazing, Noir, 2099, and Ultimate universes.
These are great! Thank you for taking the time to fix the major issues with the tracks.
There are a few more things that need tweaking, Mostly naming errors and cloned tracks.
- I am convinced Malicious Wings (V3) and (V4) are the exact same song. There's no other stage music that has a version 4 so idk what's going on. So Malicious Wings (V2) should be renamed Malicious Wings (V3), because Other (3) sounds like the correct Malicious Wings (V2). The one that says Hobgoblin - Malicious Wings (V3) [I can't tell V4 and V3 apart] should probably be deleted.
- Other (1) and Other (2) are Tutorial - Amazing and Tutorial - Ultimate. However they're both too slow. In my failed attempt to rip the music to this game a year ago, I know for a fact that both of those tracks should be exactly 60 seconds.
- Other (4) is either Scorpion - Meltdown (V2) or Tutorial - 2099. Most people I see uploading the tracks to youtube put it with Scorpion though. I don't even think the other tutorial musics are on youtube lol.
- There are two VS Carnage - Trail of Blood (Fragment Mix) Probably delete one of them
- VS Deadpool Where's My Guitar Solo? is missing a hyphen
- Unfriendly Skies (Fragment Mix) is missing the VS Hobgoblin part.
- VS Doctor Octopus - Femme Fatale and VS Doctor Octopus - Femme Fatale (Fragment Mix) are the exact same song.
- VS Hobgoblin - Unfriendly Skies, VS Hobgoblin can just be VS Hobgoblin - Unfriendly Skies
- VS Vulture - Scavenger and VS Vulture - Scavenger (Fragment Mix) are the same song
Was that confusing to read or what? If you need clarification, don't be afraid to ask.
I absolutely agree, I grew up with this game and thought it was a shame that the ds version was the only one with proper soundtrack. It would be a great help if you could supply the names of the tracks. It would make sorting and finding the tracks a lot easier especially when they are uploaded.

60. VS Carnage - Trail of Blood (Fragment Mix)
Thanks for all the work you've done, I feel like I've been asking a lot out of you, but it's only because this game matters and people deserve a way to hear the game's amazing music. If you need the track names, I can supply them.

So all the stage tracks in the game's files are combined into three completed versions rather than the instruments themselves being different files? That's a little inefficient. This video on Jim's channel shows what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/embed/6bhoeqS7f7U It's clearly the Kraven stage theme but the main melody is gone. I was hoping the game files would have those stems but it sounds like it doesn't. Oh well. Thanks for looking into that!
id probably guess that because of some criware shenanigans that they had to do it that way, or maybe it was easier to make dynamic looping music that way, but either way ill look out for anything in the files cause there's always a chance i missed something.

Anyway I can help. Funny thing, I had attempted to rip the music myself about a year ago, but had no luck. I'm sympathetic to the technical issues your facing. Something about how the data is packaged is really screwy.
I do have one question for you: Jim Dooley, the composer, has uploaded a few of the songs from the game to his YouTube channel. It appears that the stage themes have separate layers of instruments that weave in and out during gameplay, similar to Super Mario Maker, because many of tracks on his channel are missing instruments that should be there. I was wondering if, in the files, there are separate instrument tracks for one song or if it's all combined together.
From what I've seen there are actually multiple versions of multiple tracks, for most there are 3 versions, a simple sorta low volume version with few instruments , a much more complete track with a few more instruments, and then the "complete track with all the instruments so that might explain why the tracks he has uploaded are missing some instruments as he may not have uploaded the "complete track". as for the stingers im guessing those are probably hidden in a pak file somewhere, so those are definitely gonna take a bit of time to extract but ill focus on fixing the tracks and separating those that are stuck together for the mean time and then update it with the stingers.
I see, ill go through and separate those tracks, as well as changing the sample rate for fixing pitch and tempo, as for the missing tracks I think they might be at different sample rates, because a lot of the ambience tracks and a few sfx were either not in the audio streaming files, or they were just pure static and in some cases were just a high pitched ringing noise. But I´ll get on fixing the upload as fast as i can. Thanks for the assistance.

Ah, I know what the problem is. After carefully checking to see if I was wrong, I noticed some of the tracks are combined. Here's the list:
Track 7 has three tracks in it (2099 Tutorial, Amazing Tutorial, and Ultimate Tutorial)
Track 11 has two tracks in it (Hammerhead Boss 2 and Hammerhead Boss 1)
Track 14 has two tracks in it (Electro Boss 2 and Electro Boss 1)
Track 17 has two tracks in it (Sandman Boss 1 and Sandman Boss 2)
Track 18 has two tracks in it (Goblin Boss 1 and Goblin Boss 2)
Track 19 has three tracks in it (Mysterio - Amazing, Mysterio - Noir, and Mysterio - Ultimate)
Track 23 has two tracks in it (Hobgoblin Boss 1 and Hobgoblin Boss 2)
But even accounting for that, there are still missing tracks:
Web of Destiny
Noir Tutorial
Electro's Stage V2
All the Game Over stingers
All the Level Complete stingers

thanks, i'll try changing the files to a lower sample rate and see if that fixes the tempo and pitch, as for missing songs i don't know which could be missing as i went through the audio streaming files one by one and got all the audio i could find.

The tempo is too fast and the pitch is too high. There are also missing songs. Please fix.
