Description
Decided to take the scrapped music uploads by Tee Lopes from his socials for Sonic Mania's previous anniversaries, convert them to MP3s, and edit them in the style of the game's soundtrack for a better listening experience.
Audio and most comments are sourced from Sonic Retro's Sonic Mania development page, with some additional notes by me. Logo used in the cover by Jster1223.

hey bro! just wondering if there is actually a music file for the unused zone, "scrap brain zone" (i mentioned this zone earlier on the page) if there is, can u please add it? Thanks!
There's been no findings of a Scrap Brain track for the game's decompilation, which is the best it can get for accessing the game internally without having straight up access to the source code (an impossibility without SEGA just releasing it, or more likely a leak happening but I wouldn't get my hopes up). Maybe Tee could upload the track one day on his socials, but it's been a while since the last time he'd do that.

Nah, I agree that it should've been used instead of the, still cool but just less interesting (especially after the amount of times I've heard it lol), S3 jingle remix. It would've helped make Mania feel just that tad bit more original (even if I don't mind the game's tendency to reference stuff tbh. It was kinda its point, like Generations). At least maybe use both the remix and new composition depending on if a level was a remake or an original one as a decent compromise.
At another least, there's mods for the Steam version that https://gamebanana.com/sounds/69515 - reinstates it and https://gamebanana.com/sounds/69618 - Unheard Tour into the game. Fun to hear what could've been!

there is also another scrapped zone (no, literaly!)
scrap brain zone was supposed to be in the game ( they replaced it with metallic maddness)
