I know standalone emulators exist (plus I have quite a few, including Kega Fusion), but it was just easier to play it that way. Ignoring that, the build of the ROM hack I played clearly used Sound Test 9A in Palm Paradise Zone Act 2, so I don't believe it should be marked as "unused." It's your call, though, since it's your rip after all.
I don't believe the online emulator I used was bugged because I played a few other ROM hacks afterward that didn't ever boot me to the title screen, unlike CD Edition. Unless, of course, it's using an odd build of the ROM hack, in which case I guess that invalidates my experience.
u still shudn't use online emulators cuz they're phooey, always use downloaded emulators cuz unlike them, they don't make money off other people's works

For me, Green Hill Zone played in Palm Paradise Zone Act 1, and Act 2 played the supposedly unused Sound Test 9A with a short, buggy Metal Sonic race. As expected, though, Act 3 played Bad Future since I didn't destroy the badnik generator in the Past, assuming it even existed. Though I only got to hear Act 3 Bad Future briefly, since it randomly booted me to the title screen.

Man, Sound Test 9A is such an excellent arrangement of Metal Sonic's theme from Sonic 4: Episode 2. It's a shame stuff like this is created for ROM hacks, then subsequently forgotten about. It's also a shame that it doesn't loop properly.

how weird theres no sound test to unlock majin jumpscare in sonic cd creepypasta but there is in this normal version and the fact probably i would want a zone called maple stuns zone and also this is related to below the depths cause in sonic cd creepypasta you can go to labyrinth zone
