Ever since playing this for the first time, on Playstation Vita, it's music struck me deep. I feel strong affection for many types of themes in games, calm tones as well as upbeat ones, and as a big techno-fan in the teenage years, the score of this game awoke that old taste. :) Enjoyed the melodies in Gradius V on Playstation 2 back in the days, and am willing to bet the composer of Himmelsturmer's sequel was inspired by those tracks. Soldner-x 2's ost matches the gameplay alot, giving you the eager and motivation to go on. ^_^
