The music is fine, but the rest of the game was quite a wasted opportunity; they could've easily remade the entire content of the original game (meaning the NES version, which is the one I played) and still keep the existing content properly distributed throughout different areas in the castle. Unfortunately, it was not the case, as the developers, but whatever reason, decided to cut out several parts of the original game and replace it with new stuff; like, seriously why the hell did they have to replace the Sphinx with a Djinn? Or remove the mirror that sucks you into space if you smash it? Also (and of course this comes down to personal preference) I wasn't much of a fan of the art style; a good example being the wraith enemy you have to burn down with a torch, which looks far less unnerving than the NES version; and we're talking about the NES here!
