Yasunori Mitsuda doesn't disappoint in the least with this gorgeous, unrestricted soundtrack to The Seventh Seal (which I have not played). The first track, The Door, truly stands out in a very consistent and enthralling album, though the final track, Reincarnation, is also worth mentioning. It's lively without being bombastic, which makes it good for both easy and focused listening. It comes in at under forty minutes, so it leaves me wishing there was a little more music, but Naoko Endo's piano score (not included) complements this very well. Overall, it's an excellent effort from one of the most accomplished video game music composers to date.
