Description

"Rupert and Riley was a labor of love that spanned over 2 years. The concept of this score is fun, simple, pop-like arrangements that are full of personality. We wanted to capture a cross between vintage pop rock, surf rock, and jazz music elements. We also incorporated some orchestral instrumentation to give it more of a "grand adventure" feel. I knew from the beginning if I took the writing process too seriously that it wouldn't work out. So I kept reminding myself to have fun and use a lot of humor in the music.

The soundtrack wouldn't be what it is without some help from some really talented musicians that performed on it. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, especially Mad Frog Studios for giving me this wonderful opportunity."
