HUGE thank you for adding this soundtrack. Metal Gear Solid is, hands down, the best video game series and has the the BEST soundtrack I have ever heard on a video game.

What can I say about the very best PS1 game's soundtrack?...b ack on PS1 times I didn't even know about achievements and soundtrack and etc.What MGS achieved back on that era is insane...everyt hing including the soundtrack is so above any other PS1 game that is incredible.Of course Encounter is the best song...you can't get more memorable than that.

Liquid Ocelot says that In MGS 1 Konami has copied the scene of the electric torture from Oddworld Abe's Exoddus, but the hero was hung upside down, if they did in MGS1 would be more sadistic and better!

this was the first 3rd person shooter let alone stealth game ive played. i was around 7 years old not into music. but after playing that i could not stop humming the music to it. with out it the game would not be as good

I remember my uncle playing this game,then I tried this game when I was only 8 years old,i didnt know the story much but the atmosphere with that music was awsome.Now im 15 and i still play this game on my psp.MGS is not one of the best but its the best of all.

Awesome, songs but, I don't know how to get the songs on the computer. Can somebody tell me what I'm supposed to do? I need to keep typing because it won't let me put it up unless it's long.

Anyone who has played mgs knows its songs. It warms my heart to hear such beautiful compositions after such a long time of not playing it. 1997 i think 10/10

With characters like Snake, Frank, Meryl and Liquid, this game was the first to dwelve into true emotional connection with the player and the many different, touching life stories of the characters (both friends and enemies) and is the only game, so far, to successfully do so.
