There were plans to release a Super NES version, but they were scrapped for a variety of reasons said by the developers of the game for the interview, including the failure of the Genesis original. Moreso, the producer, Patrick Gilmore, said in an interview the game was published by Sega, as there are no Disney Interactive or Buena Vista Interactive logos on the front cover.
In December 2012, the programmer, Chris Shrigley, released the source codes of the Genesis and Super NES versions only for educational purposes.
This is one of my favorite games I've ever watched.
