Description

Donald in Maui Mallard is a platform game starring Donald Duck. It was one of the first games developed by Disney in-house (along with the parallel development of Gargoyles for the Genesis) and the first one developed under the Disney Interactive label.
The original Mega Drive version was physically released in Europe and Brazil, while in the United States it was distributed via Sega Channel, although a US Mega Drive retail version was shown at Winter CES 1996 with a planned release for Q3 of that year.
Donald assumes the role of Maui Mallard, a washed up "medium-boiled" detective who visits a mysterious island and discovers that its idol of Shabuhm Shabuhm, considered to be the island's native guardian spirit, has gone missing. If the idol is not recovered soon, the whole island will explode. Maui is then put on the case, which will lead to him undergoing the ability to change into his ninja alter-ego: Cold Shadow.

The "Title Screen", "Ninja Training Ground", "The Sacrifice of Maui", "The Flying Duckman", "The Realm of the Dead", "Mojo Stronghold" and "Boss Battle" are the BEST! I think Disney will remaster the Sega version better than what happened with Gargoyles, when it was remastered by Empty Clip and Limited Run.
