Description

Fast Racing League is a fast-paced, futuristic racing game, often compared to F-Zero and Wipeout. However, unlike other racing games, it features a "phase shift mechanic" which allows the player to switch their vehicle between light and dark phases. These can be used to take advantage of colored pads on the track to boost the player's speed or launch the vehicle into the air, which only work if the vehicle is the same color. The player must collect energy orbs scattered across the track to fill their energy meter, which allows them to switch phases, adding extra challenge to the game If the player attempts to drive over a boost pad of the opposite color, their vehicle will be drastically slowed down.

[S]Thanks for uploading, but these rips aren't very good. They were carelessly dumped off of YouTube with sub-par quality, they have no ID3 tags, and they have several errors because they were not ripped from the game files but were actually recorded from gameplay. Example: there is a audible cut in the music during the Ceremony cutscene track. There are also a few missing tracks, one being the Results screen after each race. The track "High Anxiety" cuts off way too early and is missing several seconds of audio.

The neccessary tools exist to dump these tracks in the best available form (32khz, OGG vorbis, as stored inside the game's assets). There is a CLI program called vgmstream which can do this. The .ogl files can be extracted using ShowMiiWADs.
