DuckTales on Game Boy seems like a reformulated port with better controls (you don't need press A and then Down+B to jump higher, instead it's A, then just B) but worsened music quality (the PCM channel is glitchy) and bobbed level design (due to the Game Boy's limits). While it was released to be played by players who didn't buy the NES (especially, if they lived in PAL region) and it made the game more popular, the Game Boy port isn't too worthy.

I believe the Unknown Jingle is the Game Over theme, as evidenced by how the Game Over theme sounds in the NES Version: https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/duck-tales
