Fairly low key music that is pretty chill and has a nice distinct synth sound. It definitely makes for good background music.

I played this game when it first came out for PlayStation back in 1997. It was the first of four 'yarudora' (drama-you-do) games. I loved this game so much, I've been naming my computers Mitsuki ever since. I'm in the process of building Mitsuki v.3 right now. She's going to be a bit of a Vocaloid if things work out right.
Be sure to look for the other games: Sanpaguita, Yukiwari no Hana (The #3 and #4 games respectively. I can't remember the name for #2).
