On free (as in without premium) YouTube gives 128kbps of compressed AAC audio (in mp4a iirc). With a Premium account you can get around 192-256 Kbps quality (although this also depends on whether if the uploader uploaded it in high quality in the first place). You can snatch these higher quality streams via Yt-dl. That's why I was asking. Currently these are 128-156 Kbps, the official (absolute dog turd) release from Bethesda is 256kbps (at least according to the one uploaded here on VGMSite). Plus there are still some small differences in the tracks like the starting buildup and endings of some tracks like "The only thing they fear is you", "Meat Hook" and "BFG 10K" are different when compared to the other uploads by individuals on YouTube (Koma, burgertanker, the_kovic). BurgerTanker's version of "BFG 10K" is the best (which I believe because it was done by Koma).
If only I could get some time one day and reassemble these tracks from scratch by ripping the audio from game's megatextures archive, then I guess we will have the best quality. I'm writing all this because in case of such metal af tracks like these the difference in quality gets very apparent, At least for me. (Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk /s)
YouTube Premium's quality doesn't apply to videos, it only applies to music uploaded by labels, or music from official sources. You can check for yourself with "stats for nerds".
So while you can get 256 kbs AAC or Opus, it's only for officially uploaded songs from labels.
I'm am very passionate about audio quality, that's why I'm being very transparent with the quality of these tracks and the tracks that are available with premium (which I have).
YouTube really should allow higher bitrates, even at least for premium subscribers on all content.
Even with premium there is no way around it unfortunately. They are not FLAC since he hasn't shared the files himself, but this was a nice way of having the files locally in case the "remaster" ever gets taken down. They were ripped with the highest possible quality that YouTube offers without additional transcoding before being brought here.

We're these downloaded via YouTube Premium? If not then these are not the highest quality unfortunately.

This is a remaster done by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aam9VvzFuI0 - Kovic from YouTube and is considered by many to be the definitive version of the Doom Eternal Soundtrack. The upload is the audio chopped up into tracks and updated with his v2 posts after the initial release.
