Description

Crash Bandicoot is a platformer game released for PlayStation 1 systems in 1996, developed by Naughty Dog (later creating the Jak and Daxter IP) and released by Sony Computer Entertainemnt. The story is that the player controls the titular character Crash, a bandicoot who escaped Cortex' laboratory after an experiment that turned him into an antromorphobic bandicoot, who is tasked with traversing 32 levels acorss to defeat Dr. Neo Cortex and rescue his tall girlfriend Tawna.

The game is very known for its big difficulty spike,as right from the start you can get pretty challenging stages to complete.
The game was first re-playable on Play Station 2 through its system to play PS1 games on the said system. This game would create a fully new franchise, having at least one game across the following gaming generations. In 2016, it was announced that Crash 1 will be getting a HD Remake (along with its sequels, forming N.Sane Trilogy) and that it would be available for cross-gen platforms. The said remake was released physically and digitally in 2017.

This is more of a fanremaster than a gamerip, some songs have shortened notes because the person who remastered it apparently didn't use an engine that allowed for notes to be played for longer than a second.

The actual "Classic Music Collection" fan-remaster was actually https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/crash-bandicoot-classic-music-collection-ps1-gamerip-1996 - uploaded recently so it would be probably best if this album was updated with an actual rip

It really is. I remember taking some tracks from the "Classic Music Collection" and adding them here to try and create a somewhat completed version. I think if someone would come along and provide a proper gamerip, it should just be replaced entirely.
