My Rating: 8.37/10
Personal Favorites:
Tracks 1, 2, 6, 8

Man, I love these 90s doujins. A lot of personality here and the whole thing is very interesting, but a lot of it is quite imperfect, as doujins tend to be. The opening two tracks start fairly strong and optimistic. The rest of the album is consistently of good quality, but flawed at points. For instance, track 6 has nice beats, but the vocalizer is just a bit too crackly and difficult to understand. Track 7 has this intentionally quirky but slightly inharmonious and synth-y sound, which is stylistic of course but still affects one's desire to relisten. Track 8 has a really interesting narrative with including sounds of being late, but the song is so good I wish it didn't have those background effects. Track 9 is more trad rock, which is alright, but not stellar. Track 10 uses a lot of computerized vocal clips, but it's a bit weak overall. Track 11 ends the album with a bright and happy song with decent vocals but isn't overall too stellar. Anyhow, the whole thing is worth a listen- I don't know how much of it I'll come back to listen to, but it's definitely worth at least one listen-through.
