Description

The first PlayStation 1 game in Namco's incredibly long-running and variously-named series that includes the first R.B.I. Baseball game, Super Batter Up, Extra Bases on the Game Boy, and the Family Stadium/Famista games.

Baseball is one of the most popular sports in Japan. It was introduced to Japan in 1872 by Horace Wilson, who taught at the Kaisei School in Tokyo. The first baseball team was called the Shimbashi Athletic Club and was established in 1878. Baseball has been a popular sport ever since. It is called yakyu in Japanese, combining the characters for fielding and ball.

The professional baseball association is called Nippon Professional Baseball. Japan has two leagues, as in the United States. The Central and Pacific Leagues each consist of six teams. The Pacific League uses the designated hitter style of play. The pro baseball season is eight months long with games beginning in April, and a Championship held in October. Teams play 144 games, as compared to the 162 games of the American major league teams.

The rules are essentially those of Major League Baseball. In the Nippon league, however, tie games are allowed, and technical elements are slightly different: a smaller baseball, strike zone, and playing field are used. The Japanese baseball is wound more tightly and is harder than an American baseball. The strike zone is narrower "inside" than away from the batter.

World Stadium EX is the first game in Playstation of the World Stadium series.

The game features different game modes:
- VS Mode: Play against another human player or against the computer.
- Season Mode: Choose a team and play a season.
- Mini games: Choose a character and play different mini games of batting, throwing, etc.
- Training Mode: This mode lets the player practice batting, throwing and catching.

The game also features other game modes that will be unlocked playing the main modes.

If I knew how to do it I would.

most PS1 Discs might contain music if put into a PC/Mac with a CD/DVD Drive if a Music Player like Itunes is installed! i know that for a fact if the disc does contain Music Itunes will launch automatically and Itunes will ask if you wanna rip The Disc if Itunes isn't installed most cases you can just open the Windows Explorer or Finder on a Mac and view the PS1 Disc! now if its just Data & no Music is on the Disc most cases it would just contain the Data files and you just would eject the disc or the PC/Mac would auto eject the Disc! if World Stadium EX Has music on the Disc and you have a Car with a CD player it would play the Music without hassle but if there isn't music & its just Data then it would auto eject the disc! World Stadium EX may just be A data Disc with the single track I found! but if you have the Disc try putting it in a CD player & see what happens
