I had this game as a kid, so when I saw it sitting on the requests board I knew I had to. Some of these covers honestly aren't that bad, despite the game's reputation.
The first disc contains the various menu songs, the ones you don't dance to. The second disc contains the original songs written for the game, and the parodies/complete overhaul covers. The third disc contains general licensed music, however it's worth noting that these are all unique covers made specifically for this game. The only song in this game that was completely pulled from contemporary sources is Katy Perry's One of the Boys, which has been explicitly excluded from this upload. However I made sure to include the Toys R Us exclusive cover of Walking on Sunshine.
The game supposedly has translated versions of a handful of the songs, but I couldn't tell where they were in the game files? Not sure what's going on there, I only saw the track previews for scrolling in the menus.
Artist information sourced from the shockingly comprehensive Just Dance wiki: https://justdance.fandom.com/wiki/The_Smurfs_Dance_Party
Credits:
Not sure who wrote the menu tracks, but it was likely Hideaki Miyamoto (credited as sound director), or scatgoto (credited as composer) (https://youtu.be/fbkmQPmUTpw?t=248)
Drew Ryan Scott: 2-04,6,7,15, 3-08,9.
Gigi Abraham: 2-10,11, 3-01,4,5
Justin Traynor Bowler: 2-09,13, 3-06
Lily Howard: 2-05.6.
Mike Eagle: 2-02,3.
Patricia Krebs: 3-02,3
Pierre Kartner: The original Smurfs theme song, sampled in 1-07 and 2-12.
Tom Zehnder: 2-01,2,3,6,8,14,15, 3-07.
(Info for any of the nerds who care. The menu music was stored as the expected brstm format, but the main songs only seemed to be stored inside their relevant bink video files. Converted em with ffmpeg.)
