You are given a few options once you press start, one will be the type game mode (A and B) and 4 music options. Once gameplay starts and you made your choices, similar to all the other Tetris games you must place blocks and make a horizontal line of blocks disappear or else if you stack too high you must start ALL the way back to Level 00.
Description:
A Soviet puzzle video game from the Elektronika 60 computer, was brought by Nintendo to the NES in November 1989 for the US and Europe. Tetris is the third port of Alexey Pajitnov's game for the system, following Bullet-Proof Software's and Tengen's ones.

Despite lacking 2 player support, it is widely regarded as one of the best games for the platform due to its refined controls, music and streamlined gameplay compared to its previous versions.
