Description

The game consists of controlling a character in a 3D environment through a third-person viewpoint. The player can use a variety of ninja tools and equipment and stealth to dispatch enemies and complete the game's missions. Missions are set in different locales at varying times of day, ranging from rural farmland, bamboo forests, mountainous regions, beaches, ships, villages and caverns. After the player completes a mission, they are given a rank depending on their accomplishments during that mission such as number of enemies killed, number of times spotted etc. High ranks are then used to unlock special gadgets that can be used in-game. One of the game's most acclaimed features was the Mission Editor. This gave the player the opportunity to create their own missions, including level layout, deciding which characters to place in it and mission objectives to complete.

For those looking for the differences between this gamerip and the official OST:
- The audio quality in this rip is lower than in the OST, but that's expected.
- The rip is incomplete, comprising only 10 tracks (compared to the OST's 18).
- The rip does contain one track that the OST does not: Track 8 - Mission Failure.
- Some tracks in this rip are looped a few times.

It's not a Sega genesis game. It's a PlayStation 1 game

if i recall correctly, tenchu 2 wasn't posses many BGM unlike the first tenchu. So i think this is good enough. Well done.

Engaging soundtrack.
The composer made use of live recordings of instruments for the boss fight themes ("Battle Music" and "Dread Duel"), making the boss fights all the more exciting.
The soundtrack also features eerie ambient themes.

The audio files here seem to be ripped from the game since they are mono.
The game had its soundtrack CD released on 2006, and the songs there are stereo and much better quality.

For the uneducated: the whole point of Tenchu 2 was to have music for a few key places (like Boss Battles) while the rest of the game uses ambient sound in an effort to make you feel more like a ninja since you wouldn't have blaring as you sneak up on someone. -J

This soundtrack is SORELY lacking. Sega Genesis games have a bigger soundtrack. If the songs stood out more, this wouldn't be such a problem, though. I do recall more tracks, but I'm a bit unsure..
