Description

The game is a baseball simulation. It features an MLBPA license, so it includes all of the players and statistics from the 1993 MLB season, but it lacks an MLB license, so no real team names are used. It takes a more realistic, less arcade-style approach, so the game tracks detailed statistics for every player (including numerous "ability indicators") and provides extensive options for defensive plays. Games are nine innings long and can be played with full control over the players or as the field manager and solely making coaching decisions while the computer controls the players. The game can be played by one or two players (always on opposing teams), and the cartridge includes a battery backup to store season progress as well as to remember customizations such as the batting order or starting pitchers for each team.
