It was re-released on the Wii’s Virtual Console, and on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.[1] It is the first game in the Assault Suits series. | Description: "Assault Suits Leynos" is a 1990 run-and-gun video game developed by Masaya for the Mega Drive/Genesis. "Assault Suit Leynos" was published in Japan by Masaya in March 1990 while DreamWorks, a division of Toy Soldiers, Inc., published a rebadged version of the game: "Target Earth" in June 1990. The game was re-released online on the "Wii Virtual Console" service in October 2007 only in Japan. The game later re-released online on the "Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack" service in 2022 (in June for North America as "Target Earth" and in July for Japan as "Assault Suit Leynos"). "Assault Suit Leynos" is the first entry released in the "Assault Suit" series. Composer: Takayuki Suzuki (credited as T. Suzuki) Arranger: Hiroshi Suzuki (dba. Goblin Sound) Sound Driver: Opus/Goblin Sound Fun Fact: The "Assault Suit" series also consists of the 1992 game: "Assault Suits Valken", which was also developed by Masaya. This game was rebadged as "Cybernator" by Konami/Palcom, who published the game in North America and Europe in 1993. |
