By touching and combining with another pilot your mech will gain extra weapon power. Each module also has their own "Omega attack", which after used once will only become available again after switching to another module. At the end of each stage, your main robot as well as the add-on modules will be repaired a certain amount. If a mech module's health reaches zero, it cannot be repaired and is lost for the rest of the game.
