SunFlowers lets the player control the sun and sends the sun rays down to fields and valleys in order to help the flowers sprout and come to life. But directing your sun light directly onto the flower will scorch it. Instead, you need to aim at the passing clouds which in turn will make them pour rain on the ground. Several such drops will yield a new flower. Flowers vary based on how quickly you water them, if you accidentally scorch them, based on the season and time of day, as well as the setting such as garden flowers or tropical islands. The game uses fixed screen where you control the sun on top of the screen which can be moved horizontally only. You fire sun rays downwards until you either hit the passing cloud or the ground. The game features couple of hundred different flowers, which can be collected and sent to your friends. The entire game plays sideways so you have to hold the PlayStation Vita in a way it was not designed to be played.
