"I have had this album in the back of my mind for a few years now. But thanks to now having my free time split between "Shiryu Music" and my other project "Shiryu Games" plus having more and important assignments from Nintendo Life meant this one lingered on my WIP folder for way too many months. In fact I was going to release it on the official European release date for "Star Fox Zero" on Wii U but ended up instead having to make a strategy guide for "Star Fox Guard" for Nintendo Life. I am super glad to have this out now. "Star Fox: The Lylat Symphony" is an extended, reimagined LP version of "Star Fox Suite" (a bonus track here) from my "SNES XX" album, a celebration for the amazing soundtrack by Hajime Hirasawa. I often feel that since the game is mostly remembered for it's revolutionary polygons and Super FX chip that this fantastic soundtrack is often overlooked. Of course it also helps that "Star Fox" is along side "F-Zero" and "Metroid" my all time favourite Nintendo franchises. I hope you enjoy this album and that it brings you a ton of great memories from simpler times. Oh, and in case you are wondering: Yes, I do love "Star Fox Zero". We need you, Star Fox!" - Shiryu
