| Description: | Description: The 2nd Star Fox game on the GameCube, succeeding the, unusually distinct, Star Fox Adventures, it features a blend of gameplay styles from 64 & Adventures, with mixed results from fans, leaving them divided. It is succeeded by Star Fox Command on the DS, but the true official next successor would be Star Fox 64 3D in 2011 on the 3DS, effectively erasing the effects of Assault till Zero was released in 2016, which brought medals to the levels properly. This game has an Arcade-like feel, since Namco worked on it, but it still is quite a lot of fun to blast through this game. Unlike Adventure with it's sluggish progression, which made it sort of boring at times. This is one of quite a few games that Nintendo and Namco worked on (Mario Kart Arcade hinthint). Fans are beginning to enjoy Assault's speedy style of gameplay, but also rewarding players for going out of their way if they want 100% completion. This soundtrack does not include cutscenes, which have SFX and voices, which at the moment cannot be removed. |
