Terrific Music, Sonic CD has some of the best, but I gave it a nine because it's not the US soundtrack, it's actually the Japanese one, which most people find better.

I gotta say, whoever created the US sound track is one AWESOME person.

An amazing soundtrack from the greatest Sonic game ever. Just so good.

Also, Dot, it is the US soundtrack. The JP soundtrack sounds terrible.

Cool special stage music, boss music, but Sonic Boom lacks in good.

I love both the US and the JP tracks. The boss music of this one is horrifying and chilling which I find a nice change from the happy-go-lucky boss themes in the Sonic series. The game over however is absolutely satanic. Love it, an excellent track for an excellent game.

I Love Quartz Quadrant`s Theme In Here.

However, Japan`s Tracks Are Slightly Better In My Opinion.

Man, not only is this music nostalgic, but it's so great too. Not only will it get a bad song out of your head, but it replaces it with something so great XD I love how every one of these has such a great beat. That's what makes them, in my opinion. 12/10 still best video game soundtrack ever.

(If you haven't noticed, I just kinda enjoy this music. A little. )

(Also I'm suffering from insomnia, and I have nothing else to do but write this comment...)

I honestly don't give a crap what others say. The US soundtrack is amazing, and it's almost up there with the JP one. It's just that most people hate on it because the entire internet does for some reason. Just because it's different doesn't mean it sucks.

This is a great album, and I can tell work was actually put into making the music. The only reason I gave it a 9 and not a 10 is because I actually prefer the JP/EU soundtrack. Now, I know opinions vary about this subject, but I see it like this. Sega of Japan made an awesome soundtrack for their newest sonic game, Sonic CD. When presented to Sega of America, though, Spencer Nilson or whoever and Sonic Team thought the music was, and I will admit, sort of weird. So, they designed a soundtrack filled with guitar and drums and stuff, and made a soundtrack catered toward more of an American audience. I don't know why they kept the 'past' soundtracks the same in both versions, though. So, it turned out awesome, and I love both versions of the soundtrack, but I prefer the Japanese soundtrack better. Thanks for reading, I'm outta here! (by the way, a 12 yr old boy write that. That's me! Hi guys! Surprised, huh? Well, I actually do own a genesis and Sega CD I bought, and am a HUGE Sonic fan.)

Boss (US) = Ready to die?
Boss (JP) = Disco?....

L ike Sonic CD (US aswell JP ver.)
And, yeah...I can still play it! Still has the GC, Sonic Gems Collection, Sonic Mega Collection etc.

I will never sell the Collection/ Games, even if my GameCube is broken. Have it for over 10 years! And I hope that it's going be 30 years or longer.

This soundtrack is known as the American version as it is a nostalgic soundtrack that is either 23 or 24 years old. I'd prefer the Japanese version over this version, because this version is more uplifting and entertaining. But I'd rather choose the American, because we live in America as this game brings back old memories whether it be the Mega-CD, PC or 2011 edition. But I still say yes to either the Japanese or the American version.

For some reason this soundtrack is a game one and a musical one. But I wish I were playing this game of Sonic CD on the Mega-CD as a 5 or 6 year-old kid back then, but used to play it on the PC in 2000-2011 or 2012 but had stopped playing it. The only two tracks I love are both Quartz Quadrant's good and bad future in either the Japanese or the American version and I also love all of the past tracks as well. Also, I wish I played the 2011 edition of this game.
