Description:
Simply put, this is a remaster of the entire US Sonic CD Soundtrack. About 40% of the tracks are true lossless FLAC, while the other 60% are also FLAC, but only upsampled due to source related issues.

Comment from project lead/YouTuber, "Spammer Lammy":
"This was a fun little project I've been working on for the past week or so as I've been feeling a bit lonely and bored lately. I've been trying to touch up my audio editing/mixing skills and since I love Sonic The Hedgehog music so much, I'm using that as practice. This is my first published result. I've also been working on Sonic R's soundtrack behind the scenes, but I took a break from it.

Anyway, this was a bit of a rollercoaster. Sometimes it was really fun, and sometimes it was pretty frustrating. I enjoyed it overall, but it took lots of concentration, which I'm not known to have a lot of.

I used several methods. Most of the tracks use simple EQ, levelling, and minor panning adjustments, but some tracks--especially the two versions of Sonic Boom--required me to isolate stems from the recordings and basically rebuild the songs from scratch, touching up sounds in the process. It took a combination of AI and manual work to do so. It was really difficult as it's almost impossible to get truly accurate results when creating your own stems, and even when I pulled it off, it was hard getting the songs to sound right. Some came out better than others, but at the end of the day, I think this is the best I can do for now at my basic skill level."
