This is Tim Follin's first attempt for doing music on the NES and I think he succeeds with flying colors, if not for the quality of the instrumentation and how intricate it sounds. Not his best soundtrack on the console, but I'm surprised this one is as overlooked as it is. Although I guess that is a good thing because he has become the face of "best video game composer" by a bunch of stupid 7-year-olds. A lot of cringe has come from the people who "enjoy his work" but at least the era of him was great.
