Two hundred years ago a great war almost wiped out mankind from the face of the Earth. Survivors of the war decided to start anew and slowly rebuilt the towns while relying on steam trains as a transportation to connect the towns around the globe. Over time, children with inexplicable new powers were born into this world. Afraid of anything they could not explain, people sent all such children to Roddo Town, a town isolated from the rest of the world by a great steel wall. It is also the town the game takes place in. The player controls Woll, a kid living in Roddo Town who possesses the ability to see past memories of objects. One day, having used his powers to fix a broken TV, Woll is summoned to the town's mayor's office. There he is given the task to fix a 200 year old plane in order to access a long-lost pre-war technology. For Woll and a few other children, this was but a stepping point toward the journey that will impact the new world as they know it.
