this is a real sega game?

Yes. It was free with Sega Smash Pack volumes 1 and 2 for Windows. The Dreamcast one in Sega Smash Pack was totally different. You could play against people online but I didn't have internet back then so I just tried to beat my high score all the time. There was even an earlier version of Sega Swirl in black and white for Macintosh computers in the early 90s. Never played that one. Basically you click on colored swirls and try to match them together. Then you click again to confirm it and a bunch of the same color disappear if they are close together and the rest of the swirls fall into place. The idea is to get as many combos as possible. If you get stuck with one swirl by itself and have to click on it to get it out of the way, you get booed. Get a big combo and the crowd goes wild.
