The pink of the flowers symbolizes my prayers.
The waves carry away the joy of summer.
I let myself drift into these imaginary songs,
fleeting.

The cherry trees mingle
with the eternal colors
of this flame, which shines on the sea.
It pierces the space
and leaves on me the trace
of the rhythm of the air's breath.

Despite this, this brilliance does not reach me.
My heart cannot bring itself to be in turmoil.
The memories of those days of terror remain there
, ache of my soul, dulling.

Azure dew in my voice.
This modest soldier, this young me of yesteryear
, dreamed, or so I believe.

Azure dew, beyond.
An unparalleled happiness lived deep within me,
this little voice tells me.

For this beloved woman, I try
to sweep away the trenches,
to find again the one I was,
a poet inspired by love.

Crossing this path,
an image rediscovered.
I constantly encounter people hurrying by.
How can I forget
this beloved village?
