Description

Rockman EXE WS incorporates action and platforming elements from the classic Mega Man games while incorporating elements from the Battle Network series of games. Unlike the majority of the Battle Network games, MegaMan.EXE is the only playable character in the game as Lan Hikari acts as a support character throughout the game, only appearing in dialogue boxes, menus, or calls to MegaMan.EXE to give him advice on the currently stage.

Yeah but the controls aren't really that good and the game is punishingly hard when it comes to level design! one wrong move and you're out of misery (dead)! at least bosses aren't super hard, you can cheese them by spamming the sword weapon until they defeated. not a terrible game but pretty decent 2d platforming game

People talk about the controls being bad, but I never really saw them that way..?

I dunno, maybe I'm just weird-

But yeah, the levels are pretty punishing at times.

At least they are rather short and you are given a lot of lives..!

I really like this game.

It's not very complex or long, but they did a much better job of porting Battle Network to a 2D platformer style of game than they did with Network Transmission-

The OST is pretty decent.

I'm a fan of the 'Global Internet Area' theme, 'Pharoah Man's Area' theme, and the 'WWW Area' theme, specifically..!

One issue with the OST is that the loops are super short-

We're talkin' loops of 20-30 seconds being the average... 😅

I really like this game.

Such a classic game, love the soundtrack and the game and I remember playing it back in 2018 or 2019! good times.
