Description

Robo 2: Saving Eny is a puzzle game in the Robo series and the sequel to the original Robo. The player takes control of a robot, Robo, whose goal is to save his friend Eny from the underground government bunker. The gameplay remains largely the same: the main character must clear levels from laser beams by redirecting them with mirrors, blocking them with stones, and destroying the laser emitters with bombs. The most notable additions are the improved controls and graphics and the custom map editor.

As a kid, I knew HeroCraft as the developers of Dragon and Dracula, Yumsters, Farm Frenzy and The Treasures of Montezuma 2 for Android. But then I grew and I know that they were developers of many J2ME titles (until they have switched to Android in mid-2010s), with Robo 2 being one of them. As a far as I know, the team who worked for J2ME also works for Android as HeroCraft also had another team for Pocket PC, Symbian and iOS. Their quality is comparable to or better than that of Gameloft, another part of my childhood, mostly because HeroCraft are "quality over quantity", while Gameloft are "quantity over quality".
Will HeroCraft port the game to Android? Iunno.
