🎵 4 additional pieces from the original game.
🆕 7 new compositions from 2024 Riven Remake.
🎵As an digital bonus: a 3000 x 2500 px scan of the first rough map we sketched of the Riven islands (including our scrawled notes of our ideas for the game). This early map includes puzzles and concepts that found their way into the final Riven game.

It's possible whoever uploaded the non-remastered version accidentally uploaded the remastered. When it comes to music, "remastered" usually just means "less dynamic range, less impact, less intensity, less drama, but great for hearing the whole thing when driving in the car at 70 miles per hour on the freeway with the windows down and traffic passing."

I wonder what the other version sounds like.

I made a slight error i didn't get this from Bandcamp like i first said/thought that was my mistake i got it here https://download-soundtracks.com/game_sountdtracks/riven-soundtrack-remastered-by-robyn-miller/ which has both FLAC & MP3 Files in one if i ever do get the files off Bandcamp I can replace both Versions the MP3 & Flac versions

I'm looking at the waveforms of the "remastered" tracks and the ones from the original soundtrack, and they both appear to be identical. A remaster should represent a difference of dynamic range or EQing, or both, but there's no difference whatsoever.
Either someone uploaded the wrong album or the "remaster" claim is a lie.
